Perry County Mo Workforce

Perry County participates in the ACT Work Ready Communities initiative! This means that our local workforce development efforts are aligned with business and industry.

Perry County is served by multiple post- secondary educational institutions. The Perryville Area Career and Technology Center offers training to high school students in the areas of industrial technology, agriculture, digital media, health occupations, and welding. Ranken Technical College has a Ranken Southeast campus in Perryville that provides technical training to those wishing to learn a new skill. Mineral Area College offers two -year degree programs and operates out of the Perryville Higher Education Center. Southeast Missouri State University is the region’s four-year institution and provides bachelor and master’s degree programs.
